Low-poly 3D modeling software for Windows.

Nubble is a small, fast 3D modeling app for making low-poly game assets. Mesh editing, modifiers, PBR materials and export to glTF, GLB, OBJ, PLY and STL, in one window. No installer.

Why use Nubble

Large 3D suites serve film, engineering and simulation at once, and carry the complexity that requires. Nubble does one job: low-poly modeling for game assets.

  1. Easy to learn

    One window, seven panels and a short list of shortcuts. Add a cube, cut a loop and extrude a face within a minute of opening it.

  2. Focused modeling tools

    The operators a low-poly asset needs, and nothing else. No animation, no sculpting, no node graphs.

  3. Fast and lightweight

    A single native executable. No installer, no runtime to download, and it opens straight into an empty scene.

Edit vertices, edges and faces

Tab into edit mode and work on vertices, edges or faces. The three modes stay in agreement, so selecting every corner of a face selects the face too.

  • Vertex, edge and face selection modes

Extrude, inset, bevel and loop cut

Each operator runs once. Adjust the numbers in Adjust Last Operation and it re-runs rather than stacking a second one. When one cannot apply, it says why and changes nothing.

Move, rotate and scale with precision

Modal transforms follow the mouse, constrain to an axis or plane, snap to increments and accept a typed value. Escape cancels exactly, leaving the mesh as it was.

Preview PBR materials in the viewport

A physically based material with base color, metallic, roughness, emission and a clearcoat layer, previewed live. Flat or smooth shading, plus a subdivision modifier when a surface needs rounding off.

Nubble is unreleased software. Nothing is listed as finished before it is.

The Nubble interface

Seven dockable panels, a menu bar and a toolbar. The layout is saved per user, so the window you arrange is the one you come back to.

Toolbar Select, Move, Rotate and Scale, then Extrude, Inset, Bevel, Loop and Subdiv.

3D viewport Shading mode, overlays, and the object and triangle counts in its header.

Docked panels UV editor, statistics, animation and log, docked under the viewport.

Outliner Every object in the scene as a tree, each row with its own visibility switch.

Properties The active object's transform, material and modifiers, with a Rig tab beside it.

Textures The texture library: create, load, save and delete.

Nubble is not a replacement for a full 3D suite. It is for making game-ready assets quickly, without learning a large application first.
