Sheet L2Terms of use
Terms of use
LAST UPDATED 31 JULY 2026
Scope
These terms cover this website and any development build of Nubble downloaded from it. By using the site or a build, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the site or the software.
The software itself is also covered by the license included with the build. Where that license and this page disagree, the license takes precedence.
Using this website
The site describes software that is still being written. Features, system requirements and timing are accurate at the time of writing and can change without notice. Nothing here is a commitment to release, to a date, or to any particular feature.
You may read, link to and quote this site. You may not present its content as your own, or use it in a way that suggests the project endorses you.
Development builds
Nubble is unreleased. Every build offered here is a development build, provided as is and without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. You use it at your own risk.
Specifically, and without limiting the above:
- Project files written by one build may not open in a later build.
- Features may change or be removed between builds without notice.
- No guarantee is made against crashes, corrupted files or data loss.
- There is no support commitment and no service level of any kind.
Keep your own backups of any work you care about, and do not rely on a development build for production work.
License to use the software
The license covering Nubble accompanies the build you download and governs what you may do with it, including whether you may copy, modify or redistribute it. Read it before using the software. No license is granted by this page.
Your work belongs to you
Models, textures, project files and anything else you create with Nubble are yours. The project claims no ownership of, and no license over, the work you produce with it. Exporting or saving your work creates no obligation to the project.
Third-party components
Nubble includes third-party open source components, and the file formats it reads and writes are defined by their respective owners. The notices and licenses for those components are distributed with the build and continue to apply to them.
Name, logo and site content
The Nubble name, logo and the artwork and text on this site belong to the project. You may not use them to imply endorsement, affiliation or authorship, or as part of your own product or service name. Other product and company names mentioned belong to their respective owners.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the project and its author are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss or damage, including lost work, lost data, lost profits or business interruption, arising from the use of or inability to use this website or any build downloaded from it, even if the possibility of such damage was known.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranties to be excluded or liability to be limited. Where that is the case, the exclusions above apply only as far as the law permits, and your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
Changes to these terms
These terms may change as the project develops. The date at the top of this page changes with them, and continuing to use the site or the software after a change means you accept the revised terms.
