Privacy policy

The short version

This website has no accounts, no tracking and no advertising. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from other domains: the fonts, scripts, styles and images all come from this server. Nothing you do here is profiled or sold.

Who is responsible

Nubble is an independent project run by one developer, who is responsible for the data described on this page. For any question about it, or to exercise the rights below, write to support@nubble3d.com.

Server logs

This site is hosted by IONOS. Like effectively every web server, it records a standard log entry for each request: the IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the referring page and the browser's user-agent string.

These logs exist to keep the site online, diagnose faults and detect abuse. They are not used to build a profile of you, are not combined with any other source, and are not sold or shared, except where the hosting provider processes them to run the service or where disclosure is required by law. They are kept only as long as needed for those purposes.

Your theme preference

Choosing the light or dark theme saves a single value named nubble-theme in your browser's local storage, so the site remembers your choice on your next visit. It is not a cookie, it is never sent to the server, and it contains nothing but the word light or dark. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.

What this site does not do

• No accounts, sign-up, newsletter or contact form.
• No analytics, tag managers, pixels or advertising.
• No third-party fonts, embedded videos, maps or social widgets.
• No cross-site tracking, fingerprinting or profiling.

Downloads

If a download link points at a third-party host, your browser makes a request directly to that host and its own privacy policy applies to it. The destination is always visible before you click.

The Nubble application

The desktop application is separate from this website, and downloading it is not tied to any identity: there is no account, license key or activation step.

It stores its panel layout, preferences and the last session's log locally in %APPDATA%\Nubble\. That data stays on your machine, and deleting the folder removes it.

Email

If you write in, your message and address are used only to reply and to track any bug you reported. They are not added to a mailing list. Ask and the correspondence will be deleted.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, and in the EU and UK under the GDPR, you have the right to ask what personal data is held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict its use, and to receive a copy. Requests go to the address above and are answered as quickly as possible.

If you are in the EU or UK and believe the data has been mishandled, you may also complain to your national data protection authority.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
